Looks like my little netbook computer has a trojan. There is no way to fix it and I am prevented from doing a system restore. No way to reinstall the operating system without a disk drive, either. I will never buy a netbook again! It may be possible to ressurect my old laptop (with broken keys and a really slow processor). Give me a few days to try to get up again. Thanks!
